Hello!
My name is Andreea and I'm the crazily redhead girlfriend of the best CEO.
Since I was a child I liked fine arts, so I studied fine arts since the 5th grade at The Hight School of Art. Then I studied photography at The University of Art and Design Cluj, and now I study media production at The Babes-Bolyai University, Romania. Also, I had the opportunity to study photography abroad for one term at École Supérieure des Arts Saint-Luc, Liége, Belgium.
I worked as a volunteer photographer to a various associations such as TIFF (Transilvania International Film Festival), The Hall and City Council (Cluj-Napoca Days event), ORCA Swimming Club (Cross swimming of Lake Tarnita event), Cluj Community Foundation (Swimathon event) or Romanian Foundation for Children, Community and Family (Swimathon event, Children Days event). I have also participated to various group exhibitions in Romania (Cluj-Napoca, Zalau, Oradea, Bucharest), Belgium (Liége) and Hungary (Budapest). And of course, I'm Dedicated Member at The Art Photographers Association of Romania.
So, I like photography!
I hope you will enjoy my photos.

National Salon of Youth, second edition, Bucharest, 2012
Year 2012 brought me a mega surprise: a bronze AAFR (Asociația Artiștilor Fotografi din România – eng. Art Photographers Association of Romania) medal and two plaques of the National Salon of Youth. First of all, I have to thank to my boyfriend who encouraged me and believed and believe in me and the second, I have to thank to the Art Photographers Association of Romania for the medal and for the plaques. I am very honored and happy. In fact, this is my first medal, which I can say it has come at the right time. Now I have enough confidence in me that I could promote myself.
The National Salon of Youth, held in the third edition of the Moon National Photography Festival in Romania, has received 216 photos, of which the national jury accepted 10 photos for each 10 categories of competition (water-ecology, architecture, childhood , photojournalism, music and dance, landscape, portrait, sport, shadows, experimental). Of the 100 photos accepted at the Salon, the jury awarded a plaque for each category of competition. Gold, silver and bronze AAFR medals were awarded to the authors that have the highest number of plaques. So, I got the plaque for the architecture category and for the photojournalism category too, which in turn gave me the bronze AAFR medal. The award ceremony took place at the Patria Cinema in Bucharest, where photos can still be seen until March 18, 2012.
During the event I had the chance to meet other photo enthusiasts and the other winners. The event also included a series of lectures in honor of the first Romanian photographer, Carol Popp de Szathmary and of course, some creative movements in the great capital, Bucharest.
I can say that I had three magical days of photography.
